Frequently Asked Questions
01
where are you located?
i tattoo in Austin, TX
03
do you require a deposit?
yes. a deposit of $520 ($500 deposit + $20 PayPal fee) must be paid to be put on my schedule. if your piece requires multiple sessions, a deposit must be sent to hold each date added to the schedule. the deposit(s) you sent in will come off of the price of your completed session(s).
07
what if I'm open to any design or don't know what I want to get?
we can definitely chat about some concepts, even if you have a loose theme you would like to follow. i am more than happy to throw around some ideas until we land on something we both would be stoked to work on together!
09
how long will my session take?
i currently work from 12pm-7pm.
the total time you spend in the studio varies. occasionally a session may go longer if it is a final session. the amount of sessions needed for a piece depend on the final design, size, placement and your pain tolerance to sit for a session.
please do not have any time restrictions the day of your appointment in the event of our session going longer, i do not want there to be any pressure or feel rushed.
11
can I get tattooed by you if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
nope. while the chance of the transmission of bloodborne disease or infection is slim, it is never worth the risk while you are growing a lil behbeh or nourishing it with your own body. please wait until that connection between you and your behbeh have transitioned.
13
do you travel for guest spots or conventions?
i enjoy guest spots to meet and work with other artists, as well as clients in different states and countries.
i may occasionally attend a convention or two during the year.
i will publicly announce on my social media platform , as well as notify my subscribers, on any travel plans for guest spots or conventions.
15
will you tattoo super small designs?
please do not submit any small tattoo ideas if you are not willing to pay my going rate for the day.
I will accept some small pieces, if they are projects that reflect the type of work I currently do and we agree on a size that will be able to hold the detail required of the wanted piece. the smaller you go, the less detail you get.
17
do you do consultations?
i currently do not do in person consultations. everything is communicated via email that i publicly post here on my website or on my social media page . i currently only use instagram as another social platform. i will not reach out to you via social media messages talking about a project or asking for deposits. please use discernment, double check email addresses as well as social media platforms if you receive anything. if that happens, please notify me immediately, thank yew!
02
how do I schedule an appointment?
due to the amount of inquiries i receive, i am only able to take on a limited amount of new clients during my booking period.
i will send out a notice to my subscribers as well as post on my social media platform when my books are open.
currently, submissions are accepted via my Booking Request form here on my website.
i will respond to you personally. please expect a wait, as i do not go over my emails everyday.
if you have not received a response from me after some time, please double check your spam folder as it may have been sent there.
i am currently only booking 3 months at a time.
i do not accept every idea sent to me.
04
how much do you charge?
since each tattoo design varies, we will talk via email about the cost of your piece.
"wannado'z" have their own unique, flat rate, price point and will be discussed via email.
06
will you do reworks or cover-ups?
i will not rework another artist's work.
cover-ups are taken on a case-by-case basis. i will openly let you know if what you have can be covered with what you want. if its something i believe i can cover, or cover with a different design that may differ from your original concept, i will offer you some other options to think about. if i feel that i can not work on your piece, i can try to recommend some other artists for you.
08
Will I be able to see my design in advance or suggest changes?
since artistic freedom is needed, custom designs will be available for you to see the day of your appointment. i start working on your design once you confirm for your first appointment. these designs take time, receive my full attention and I take into consideration everything you have described you would like in your piece. i do my best to create a unique, custom piece that completely embodies your key points, while implementing my extensive knowledge, on design and color theory, to create what i think would be the best possible piece to fit and flow on you.
if i have any questions about the design, i will reach out in advance. on occasion, i will send a mock up to you.
some changes that are communicated in advance will be taken into consideration.
10
Can I bring a friend or family member to my session?
please come to your appointment alone. at the moment, no additional guests are allowed in the studio while we are working on your tattoo.
12
will I get notified if my design project is not chosen?
i am currently reading and responding to everyone personally. i am a one woman show, so it takes time (more time than you probably are imagining) to go through all of the submissions i receive. if you do not hear back from me right away, there is a chance i may not have even gotten to your email yet! either way, please know it is not personal if i do not get back to you this booking quarter! once my books re-open, and if you did not hear from me for the last booking cycle, you are more than welcome to resubmit your idea if you really want to work on a tattoo design project with me. patience is appreciated.
14
do you tattoo minors with a parent/guardian's consent?
18yrs+ only with a valid form of identification, por favor. i do not make exceptions, even with parental consent.
16
will you do an arm or leg sleeve?
i accept sleeves on a case-by-case basis.
